About PDFSpark
PDFSpark is a set of PDF tools built on one idea: your documents are your business, so they should never have to leave your device.
Why we built it
Most online PDF tools ask you to upload your file to their servers. That's a big ask for tax returns, contracts, medical records or anything else private. Modern browsers are powerful enough to merge, split, compress, sign, redact and even read text from scanned pages on their own — so that's where PDFSpark does the work.
How it works
- Pick a tool — merge, split, compress, rotate, sign, redact, OCR and more.
- Add your file — it's opened in your browser, not uploaded.
- Download the result — processing happens on your device, usually in seconds.
What we believe
- Privacy by design. There is no server-side file processing to switch on or off — it doesn't exist.
- Honest pricing. A useful free tier, and paid plans you pay for once: a year of Pro or Lifetime access. No auto-renewing subscriptions, no dark patterns.
- Tools that do what they say. Redaction really removes content, password protection really encrypts, and compression tells you when a file can't get smaller.
