Inspect Hidden Data Before Sharing Documents
See which known privacy-sensitive structures remain in a document, then create a cleaned copy without uploading it.
Your file is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Most online tools send your document to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Privacy X-ray: frequently asked questions
Are files uploaded?
No. Inspection and cleaning happen in your browser.
What happens to a cleaned PDF?
It is rebuilt as image-only pages at 144 DPI. Searchable text, annotations, forms, hidden structures and history are discarded.
What does Office cleaning remove?
Known author/history properties, comments, notes, embedded objects, external links and hidden spreadsheet data. It accepts tracked insertions and discards deletions.
Does this guarantee that a file contains no private information?
No. Visible text and images may still contain private information. Review the copy and use Redact where needed.
