Add a Blank Page to a PDF

Need room for handwritten notes, a divider between sections, or an extra page so a chapter starts on the right-hand side when printed double-sided? Open the PDF, pick where the blank page goes, and PDFSpark inserts it at the same size as the pages around it. You can reorder, rotate and delete pages in the same workspace before saving.

Your file is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Most online tools send your document to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Add Blank Page to PDF: frequently asked questions

How do I insert a blank page in a PDF?

Open the PDF, select the page the blank page should follow, and choose Blank page after selected. The new page appears in the grid; move it with drag and drop or the arrow buttons, then save the PDF.

What size will the blank page be?

The same size and orientation as the page next to it, so a blank page between landscape pages is landscape too. That keeps the document consistent when it's printed or viewed.

Why add blank pages for double-sided printing?

In double-sided documents, chapters and sections usually start on a right-hand page. Inserting a blank page before a section that would otherwise start on the back of the previous sheet keeps the layout right when printed.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Undo and redo work for every step, including inserted pages, until you save the new PDF. Your original file is never changed.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are added and rearranged in your browser, so the document stays on your device. Organize PDF is part of PDFSpark Pro.
