Can I edit existing text in a PDF?
Yes, a line at a time. Choose Edit text and tap the line: its words appear in a box below the page, and what you type replaces them in place, in whichever of Helvetica, Times or Courier is closest to the original font, at the same size and colour. The old text is removed from the file rather than covered. Text that's part of a scanned image can't be removed, so it's covered with its background colour instead, and you're told when that happens. For rewriting whole paragraphs, the document's original source file is still the better place.
How do I add text to a PDF without Acrobat?
