Resize PDF Pages to A4, Letter or Custom Sizes
Make every page the same size for printing, submitting or binding. Choose A4, US Letter, Legal, A3, A5 or custom dimensions in millimeters or inches, and PDFSpark scales each page's content to fit while keeping its proportions. Links, form fields and bookmarks move with the content, and the conversion happens in your browser.
Your file is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Most online tools send your document to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Resize PDF Pages: frequently asked questions
How do I change a PDF's page size to A4?
Open the PDF in Resize PDF, choose A4, leave Scale to fit selected, and click Resize. Each page becomes exactly A4 with its content scaled proportionally and centered, so nothing is stretched. The new file downloads to your device, and nothing is uploaded.
Does resizing a PDF reduce its file size?
Not usually. Resizing changes the page dimensions, not the amount of data in the file, so the size stays roughly the same. To reduce file size, use Compress PDF instead. People often mix up the two because 'resize' can mean either.
Will resizing distort my pages?
No. Content is scaled by the same amount horizontally and vertically, so text and images keep their proportions. If the new page has a different shape, you'll see margins on two sides rather than stretched content. Vector text stays sharp at any scale, and links and form fields are moved to match.
What's the difference between A4 and US Letter?
A4 is 210 by 297 mm, the standard in most countries. US Letter is 8.5 by 11 inches (216 by 279 mm), used in the US and Canada. Letter is slightly wider and shorter, so converting between them adds small margins at the top or sides.
Is my PDF private when I resize it?
Yes. Resizing runs entirely in your browser, so the PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded to a server. The resized file is saved straight to your downloads, and PDFSpark keeps no copy of your document, its pages or its metadata.
