Resize a PDF to A4

A document made in the US arrives on Letter paper, but your printer, portal or client expects A4. A4 is already selected: choose whether to scale the content to fit or keep its size, and add a margin if you like. PDFSpark resizes every page in your browser, keeping text sharp and selectable.

Your file is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Most online tools send your document to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Resize PDF to A4: frequently asked questions

Will resizing to A4 distort my document?

No. Content is scaled evenly to fit the new page, so nothing is stretched. Because Letter and A4 have different proportions, you'll see a little extra space at the top and bottom or at the sides.

Can I keep the original size and just change the paper?

Yes. Choose Keep its size to centre the content on the A4 page without scaling it.

What about landscape pages?

Match each page is the default, so landscape pages stay landscape on A4; you can also make every page portrait or landscape.

Do links and form fields survive?

Yes. Text stays selectable, and links, bookmarks and form fields move with the content.

Is it free?

Yes. Resize Pages is a free tool: 3 operations a day without an account, and your PDF never leaves your device.
